Why I do what I do

At Jiberider Personal Training, my mission is to empower individuals to achieve optimal health and longevity through scientifically-proven approaches. In addition to being an ISSA certified Corrective Exercise Specialist and former corporate gym personal trainer, I am also a competitive strongman and powerlifter and I hold down a 9 to 5. As such I am very familiar with the struggles of normal life: lingering injuries, unwanted weight gain, poor mobility, burnout etc.

My custom-tailored training and lifestyle plans have helped over a dozen of my clients on their way to a slimmer waistline, better mobility and vastly greater athletic performance. 

Training with injuries and injury prevention are part of my specialty and as a hybrid athlete training for different disciplines is in my wheelhouse as well. 

My mission is to apply my knowledge on training and sports physiology to help create a healthier world with people who can pursue their sports and hobbies unperturbed by discomfort and pain and maximize their play span.

As a fitness professional, I have seen almost all kinds of different acute and chronic injuries and pains that keep folks stuck and unable to live out their full potential. Identifying causal factors and systematically applying the principles of corrective exercise most of those aches and pains can be managed and eventually go away entirely. Addressing the problem at its root is what corrective exercise is all about. Without a specific personal corrective exercise routine, you are bound to keep experiencing the same kind of discomfort you have become accustomed to.

Another part of what I specialize in is performance optimization as it pertains to lifting and various movements outside of the gym. Over the years I have partaken in many a strongman and powerlifting competition, soccer, kickboxing and kung fu, surfing and windsurfing. I understand the challenges that come with balancing multiple sports and employment/school simultaneously.

I work one on one with clients who are seeking a fitness or sport goal or want to generally be healthier and maintain an athletic, strong and functional physique (in the truest sense of the word) and preventing injuries throughout the process. 

To get you started and set your compass in the right direction I want to offer you two free personal training sessions (scroll down for details). 

I offer in-person (in the SF Bay Area) and online training. If you work with me you can reach out to me any time throughout your journey. This is about you claiming what is rightfully yours: longevity, strength, power an full mobility.

Before I dive into coaching you, I want to know your goals and give you a custom-tailored roadmap to getting there to the best of my knowledge and ability. Let’s get you in the best shape of your life!
